Technical Development

1. HACCP
   With the assistance of Mr. Thavan Naidoo, a Food Scientist Consultant (HACCP & ISO) of TPRO Food Consulting CC, our HACCP accreditation was implemented as from the 1st February 2006.
2. HALAAL
   SANA will be assisting us with the requirements for HALAL accreditation. We hope to run this program simultaneously with the HACCP accreditation. However HACCP will take preference should the need to choose one project over the other occur.
3. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
   A Food Technologist has become part of our Team. New product development, for example, a new Diabetic range. Gluten-free products, Lactose free products etc. in conjunction with the abovementioned accreditations, will be tested and engineered in house. Existing products will be analysed and improvements made where necessary.

Technical Development is an on going process and our impending expansion will no doubt lead to further processes being implemented. Our client’s needs are paramount in this area and we are geared to addressing any of these needs.
