The idea was to create a wholesale bakery that would cater for the hospitality  industry, with specialised products formulated to suit each client’s needs, rather than the client having to settle for the mass-produced market norm.
With hotels and other catering divisions opting to have completed products bought in, the idea was born to become a bakery specialist rather than just another supplier. Each client’s exact needs would be discussed and wherever possible we would create.
Each client would therefore have a specialised comprehensive product line to suit their specific needs, from the basic products to the more personalised products.
The products are manufactured on a daily basis and only to order.
We strive to produce products of a high standard, which will make you the customer proud to use.
History
Gain Foods was started in 2000, as a very small business with only six staff  members.
The company was then sold to the General Manager of Gain Foods, George Zoulis, who is now the director of the new company called GAIN FOODS Pty (Ltd).
Under George's expertise and 20 years experience in the industry, the company has blossomed and grown to become a force to be reckoned with, and a staff compliment in excess of 120 staff members. Collectively our staff experience exceeds five hundred years.

This type of practical approach has proved very successful and rewarding to both parties and because of our resounding success we are planning, in the near future, to create a unique training division to encourage our staff to develop themselves further, as well as provide the required skilled labour to fulfil the gaps in our industry.
